Blodie Entertainment, LLC is a New Orleans-based company that procures
entertainment for corporate events, private functions, national festivals
and international tours.
About the Owner: Gregory Davis has been a musician for nearly 40
years, playing his first gig at the age of 14 for $3 and a ham sandwich. This co-founder of The Dirty Dozen Brass
Band has performed, arranged and/or recorded with: Van Morrison, Dizzy
Gillespie, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Wynton Marsalis, John Lee
Hooker, Elvis Costello, and Norah Jones – to name a few, and has appeared
on The Tonight Show and David Letterman. Mr. Davis is currently the
Contemporary Jazz Coordinator and Educational Programs Director for the New
Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, a Booking Manager for Festival
Productions, Inc., and an adjunct faculty member in Loyola University’s College
